A Case of Wilson´s Disease

Abstract

|
|
Hepatolenticular degeneration (Wilson´s disease) is suspected by the clinical picture and confirmed by characteristic laboratory demonstration of impaired copper metabolism.
We experienced a case of Wilson´s disease, which was confirmed by clinical manifestations with hepatic and neurological symptoms, Kayser-Fleischer ring on slit-lamp examination, laboratory data revealed low serum ceruloplasmin and increased 24 hours urine copper excretion.
This paper presented combined hepatic and neurological form of Wilson´s disease and made a brief review of literatures.
